mergers and acquisitions

Cobalt Service Partners, a NYC-based commercial access solutions platform backed by Alpine Investors, announced its acquisition of Digi Security Systems, a Tulsa, OK-based commercial security integrator.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Cobalt Services Partners will expand its offerings.

Founded in 2003 by President Joshua Herron, Digi is a commercial security integration company that designs, installs, and services security solutions to customers of all sizes and industries, taking care to create safer communities across the region and beyond. Digi has over 100 employees across its offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Dallas, and has served more than 1,000 customers. While Digi supports customers across a variety of commercial end markets, it has a track record with educational organizations such as public school districts and universities.

Cobalt Service Partners buys and builds access solutions businesses offering founders a long-term home for their business, and through its commitment to people, technology, and unwavering stewardship.

Under Cobalt’s ownership, Herron and the rest of the Digi executive team (Vice President Tyler Nichols, Chief People Officer Brooke Lade, and Vice President of Operations Kaitlyn Verity) will continue in their current roles. Further, to supplement the team and accelerate growth of the business, Cobalt plans to appoint a CEO for Digi in the near-term.
