ShakeStir LLC (dba Cocktail Courier), a Chicago, IL-based company which specializes in creating and delivering cocktail kits at scale, acquired Thirstie, Inc., a NYC-based technology company that provides branded e-commerce solutions for liquor brands.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Cocktail Courier will continue to operate the acquired business under the Thirstie brand and integrate Cocktail Courier’s capabilities into Thirstie’s operations. ShakeStir’s CocktailCourier.com will be empowered by Thirstie’s proprietary and patented technology. The combined business is expected to achieve profitability post-integration, with faster growth of both solutions.
Led by CEO Maxim Razmakhin, Thirstie is a software company (backed by RNDC in 2022) that empowers branded e-commerce experiences for alcohol brands within a compliant system featuring consumer insights, analytics, and ROI, which help brands improve performance marketing.
Founded in 2014 by Scott Goldman, ShakeStir is a cocktail delivery platform bundling standard bottles with limited edition kits that allows liquor brands to grow revenue, build engagement, and harness consumer insights.
