Droppe Raises €3.9M in Funding

Droppe, a Helsinki, Finland-based B2B distribution platform provider, raised €3.9M in funding.

The round was led by OpenOcean. Miki Kuusi, Ilkka Paananen, Robert Gentz, Marianne Vikkula, and Lifeline Ventures, also participated.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded in 2020 and led by CEO Johannes Salmisaari, Droppe provides organizations with a platform to source, order and manage supplies, such as safety, paper, workwear and packaging supplies for their operations. It supports various businesses, from local service and restaurant chains to Europe’s light manufacturing enterprises, in streamlining both the sourcing and ordering processes giving value to procurement, operations, quality and finance teams.

Currently, the company serves over 1,500 companies across Europe, with its largest markets in the Nordics and DACH region, from offices in Helsinki and Cologne.
