EnFi Raises $7.5M in Seed Funding

EnFi, a Boston, MA-based AI fintech startup, raised $7.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Unusual Ventures, with investment from Boston Seed, Argon Ventures and Impellent Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts.

Co-founded by serial entrepreneurs and investors Joshua Summers and Scott Weller, EnFi delivers comprehensive solutions throughout the lending lifecycle. They leverage AI to monitor risk from raw borrower data and integrate information from public and private sources to allow lenders to improve their rapid risk assessment and real-time scenario modeling processes and to manage more loans efficiently. The combination of Continual Risk AnalysisTM and Predictive Risk IdentificationTM creates a complete view of the current and potential risks within individual loans and across an entire lending portfolio. EnFi is initially targeting lenders but the platform has the potential to help other sectors including procurement, insurance, real estate, corporate development, and VC/PE funds.
