Feather Raises €6M in Funding

Feather, a Berlin, Germany-based insurance service for expats across Europe, raised €6M in funding.

The round, which brought total raised to €10M, was led by Keen Venture Partners with Plural and leaders from Allianz, AXA and Bastian Kunkel, an insurance influencer. These investors will join Feather’s cap table alongside Monzo founder Tom Blomfield, GoCardless and Nested’s Matt Robinson, N26’s CTO Gino Cordt and Oyster founder, Tony Jamous. 

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion into new European markets.

Founded in 2018 by Rob Schumacher and Vincent Audoire in 2018, Feather offers a go-to insurance platform to give expats access to insurance, which combines advice with digital processes, and transparent policies. As of 2024, the company serves +70k customers in 3 countries across +20 policies. It currently serves expats in Germany, France and Spain with three more countries set to launch by the end of 2024.
