Fhenix Raises $15M in Series A Funding

Fhenix, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based startup that aims to bring confidentiality to Ethereum, raised $15m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Hack VC, with participation from Dao5, Amber Group, Primitive Ventures, GSR, Collider Ventures, and Stake Capital.

The company, which has raised a total of $22m, intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Fhenix aims to bring confidentiality to Ethereum through a Layer 2 powered by fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). The company also announced the release the initial version of the Fhenix testnet, dubbed Helium, enabling anyone to deploy their confidential smart contracts to the network using FHE to encrypt all or part of their application.
