Fuuse, a Lancaster, UK-based provider of an electric vehicle charge point management platform, raised £8.7M in Series A funding.
The round was led by YFM Equity Partners, and existing investors Par Equity and an angel syndicate.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance its next phase of growth in the UK and Ireland.
Led by CEO Michael Gibson, Fuuse provides an electrical vehicle charge point management platform that enables enterprise-level charge point operators and EV charging solutions to grow their EV charging businesses at scale through white-labelling, the provision of flexible payment solutions, dynamic pricing, advanced access management and booking controls, maintenance tracking and tools, energy management, driver and hardware support, and roaming.
The solution supports commercial charging needs in the workplace, for fleets, at destinations and for commercial charge point operators including SSE, Scottish Power, United Utilities, Siemens, British Airways, Arnold Clark, and EG Group, by driving up revenues and optimizing costs.
Working with companies such as Veolia and EDF, Fuuse is a partner in grant-funded projects to optimise energy consumption and reduce costs through bi-directional charging or vehicle-to-grid (V2G).
