InformData Holdings, an Atlanta, GA-based owner of InformData, a people-data platform for the background screening industry and risk management professionals, acquired Sentinel Information Systems, a Miami, FL-based transportation and motor vehicle record data platform.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, InformData plans to enhance its service portfolio by offering Sentinel’s data with its existing continuous activity monitoring (CAM) technology, facilitating ongoing monitoring for enhanced risk management.
Led by Matt Lowers, president, Sentinel Information Systems empowers CRAs and transportation companies to manage risk associated with nationwide motor vehicle record data, thereby ensuring the deployment of safe drivers. Their comprehensive suite of services includes nationwide access to motor vehicle records and DOT compliance solutions through seamless API integrations.
Led by Scott Vanek, chief executive officer, InformData is a data supply chain provider that offers productized APIs to deliver direct-source data, which enables optimized efficiencies, on-time results, and customized reports that reflect how solutions are sold. It aims to think differently about data, enabling its clients to focus on scale, value-added services, and relationship building while delivering direct-source data that is equitably accessible to all.
