Nomad Health Raises $22M in Funding

Nomad Health, a NYC-based digital marketplace for healthcare jobs, raised $22M in funding.

The round was led by HealthQuest Capital. Other investors included Adams Street, Icon Ventures, Polaris Partners, .406 Ventures, and RRE Ventures. In addition, it has appointed Justin Lambert as chief executive officer (CEO).

The company intends to use the funds to expand its product portfolio and meet demand for its staffing-enabling technology.

Led by newly appointed CEO Justin Lambert, Nomad Health allows clinicians to discover career opportunities through a platform with personalized job matches, pay, and on-the-job clinical support. The company aims to remove the obstacle between clinicians and the patients they care for by offering healthcare staffing technology backed by human assistance for the entire journey – from profile creation to assignment completion.

Before becoming CEO, Lambert was president and chief operating officer (COO) of Nomad Health, overseeing operations, marketing, and client services. He will guide the company through its next phase of innovation. Justine Lelchuk, senior vice president, operations has been appointed as COO. Prior to joining Nomad in 2021, she was a managing director at Deloitte Consulting. Co-founder and former CEO, Alexi Gharib Nazem, MD, will remain on the Nomad Health Board of Directors.
