Scurri, a Wexford, Ireland-based provider of a delivery management platform, acquired HelloDone, a London, UK-based provider of an artificial intelligence (AI) platform which provides conversational AI solutions to retailers and brands.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will further expand Scurri’s delivery management and post-purchase capabilities for ecommerce retailers and brands.
Led by CEO and Founder Ed Hodges, HelloDone enables online retailers to have automated post purchase conversations with their customers via WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram using its proprietary conversational AI. Clients choose to use social messaging to automatically handle all post purchase queries including the ability to manage home delivery timings and location on the fly. This reduces customer service costs and creates new, engaging channels with the customer for enhanced revenues.
Led by Rory O’Connor, Founder and CEO, Scurri provides a delivery management platform that connects and optimises the online ordering, shipping, and delivery process for online retailers. The company has raised €15.3M to date, following a €9M investment to accelerate growth in the European markets in 2021. Fuelled by the growth in online shopping in the UK and Ireland, it has opened offices in London, and the Scurri technology now manages in excess of 100 million parcel deliveries annually for eCommerce merchants including Everything 5 Pounds, Vision Direct and Bulk Powders to name a few and are integrated with delivery partners such as UPS, Royal Mail, An Post, HIVED, DHL, TNT, DPD, Yodel, Evri and more.
