Symbiotic Raises $5.8M in Seed Funding

Symbiotic

Symbiotic, a developer of a shared security protocol that serves as a thin coordination layer, empowering network builders to control and adapt their own (re)staking implementation in a permissionless manner, raised $5.8M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Paradigm and cyber•Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Misha Putiatin, Symbiotic is a generalized shared security system enabling decentralized networks to bootstrap sovereign ecosystems. Its permissionless protocol enables network builders to bootstrap economic security via customized restaking implementations across different assets.

Launch partners include Ethena, Bolt (built by Chainbound) and Hyperlane, among others.
