Deepnote, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI-powered data workspace, acquired Hyperquery, a San Francisco, CA-based competitor in the data science and analytics space.

Deepnote is now integrating Hyperqueryās capabilities and customers into its AI-powered data notebook.
Led by Joseph Moon, CEO, and Robert Yi, Ph.D., CPO, Hyperquery is a data notebook that enables users to build shareable analyses. Its clients, including Docplanner, Output, and Zeeto, will be migrated to Deepnoteās platform.Ā The company was backed by Khosla Ventures, Hyperplave Venture Capital, and Translink Investment, among many others.
Led by Jakub Jurovych, Co-Founder & CEO, Deepnote has built a data workspace that enables team members to share their work and receive feedback in real-time. This collaborative approach reduces time spent on back-and-forth communications and allows faster feedback loops, resulting in quicker delivery of data products.
Its interface, integration capabilities, and built-in collaboration features make it a favorite among users, enhancing productivity and satisfaction. Newly introduced AI assistants accelerate the analysis workflow and enable advanced data analytics to more junior or even non-technical teams. The platform is used by leading companies such as Ramp, Motive, SoundCloud, Gusto, and Webflow, among others.
