Eneida, a Coimbra, Portugal-based company which specializes in neighbourhood grid intelligence for zero emission neighbourhoods (ZEN), raised €10.5M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Junction Growth Investors, who led the round, and Santander Alternative Investments. Additionally, Korys, an Eneida investor, increased its stake, alongside participation from current investor HCapital, and the company’s founders.
The company intends to use the funds to extend its leadership position to new markets, accelerate R&D efforts to further develop its technology for grid operators and the new energy players, and continue to scale its business and its operational analytics platform.
Led by CEO Carlos Pina Teixeira, Eneida.io provides the DeepGrid® Operational Analytics platform, an open, modular, and collaborative solution that integrates smart sensor networks with advanced data analytics. It enables Distribution System Operators (DSOs), new energy players and their operational teams to improve the management of its low voltage networks to facilitate the implementation of electric vehicles, heat pumps, and solar panels on consumer rooftops, while reducing grid outages and faults, in neighbourhoods.
The company operates across Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
