Freshpaint, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a healthcare privacy platform, raised $30M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $41.8M, was led by Threshold with additional participation from new investor SignalFire and existing investors Intel Capital, Y Combinator and Zero Prime.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its offerings to ensure the entire healthcare industry, including hospitals, health insurance providers, pharmacies, and retail healthcare companies, can safeguard sensitive data and optimize the patient journey.
Led by CEO Steven Fitzsimmons, Freshpaint helps healthcare marketers to improve high-performance marketing in a privacy-first way through its healthcare privacy platform. Its privacy-first approach to data sharing allows healthcare marketers to continue to use the most advanced ads, analytics, and marketing personalization tools – without engineering or long implementation times.
Freshpaint is already used by LetsGetChecked, Baptist Health, Boulder Community Health, and other healthcare organizations.
