Gendo, a London, UK-based provider of an AI platform for architects and designers, raised €1M in Pre-Seed funding.
The company intends to use the funds to Concept Ventures with participation from Ascension Ventures, Carles Reina’s Baobab Ventures and a range of angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the capabilities of its proprietary AI tools, accelerate the launch of new features, and scale its team.
Founded in 2022 by George Proud and Will Jones, Gendo provides a browser-based application that leverages a novel combination of generative AI and ML models to assist designers with their work. Users can upload their designs (PNG or JPG), and create accurate images of their work. Taking their basic forms or well resolved designs, Gendo will adhere to their intent, and add materiality, lighting and detailing.
The tool is already being used in beta by a global architecture practices such as Zaha Hadid Architects, KPF, David Chipperfield Architects, and Benoy, among others.
