Volumez, a Santa Clara, CA-based cloud-aware data infrastructure company, raised $40M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) with new investors including Samsung Venture Investment Corporation and J-Ventures, and participation from existing investors Pitango First and Viola Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its customer base and grow its business operations in the U.S. and EMEA while maintaining R&D execution in Israel.

Led by CEO Amir Faintuch, Volumez provides a composable data infrastructure platform that allows businesses to realize the real potential of their data. With its controller-less architecture, it tackles latency and scalability challenges by establishing direct Linux data paths, ensuring exceptional performance and resiliency. Driven by technology and a customer-centric approach, the system offers comprehensive solutions that streamline data workflows, enhance data quality, and drive informed decision-making.
