Zedify Raises £4M in Funding

Zedify, a Cambridge, UK-based provider of a cargo bike delivery network, raised £4M in funding.

Backers included Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital, Mercia Ventures, Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF), and Green Angel Syndicate.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into more cities in the UK including the launch of a new Midlands hub later this year, to enhance its technology, and expand its teams of riders, sales and customer care staff.

Led by CEO Rob King, Zedify is a sustainable cargo bike delivery company currently working in Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, London, Manchester, Norwich, Plymouth, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with plans to operate in 51 UK towns and cities within the next five years.

Zedify expects to create 80 new jobs, including 20 in the new Midlands hub, and to triple its turnover in the year ahead.
