ZeroTier Raises $13.5M in Series A Funding

ZeroTier, an Irvine, Calif.-based network security startup, raised $13.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures, with participation from Bonfire Ventures, Anorak Ventures, Grand Enterprises B.V., Airbridge Equity Partners and First In Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Andrew Gault, and CTO Adam Ierymenko, ZeroTier is a secure network overlay that allows users to manage all of their network resources as if they were on the same LAN. The software-defined solution can be deployed in minutes from anywhere and empowers teams to create global private networks that connect their devices directly to each other, no matter where they are in the world.

ZeroTier serves organizations of all sizes from a broad range of global industries including IoT and industrial IoT, manufacturing, retail, tech, telecom, aerospace, and defense.
