Bookbot, a Prague, Czech Republic-based provider of an online platform for second-hand books, raised €4m in Series A funding at a valuation of over €20m.
The round was led by Genesis Growth Equity Fund I with participation from existing backer Miton.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded in 2019 and led by Dominik Gazdoš, CEO, Bookbot is a seller of second-hand classic books, bestsellers, hidden literary gems, or cult comics books, operating in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany.
The company has projected €24m revenue by the end of 2024, year over year.
