CodeRabbit, a Walnut Creek, CA-based provider of an AI-powered platform that automates the process of code reviews for developers, raised $16m in Series A funding.
The round was led by CRV, with participation from Flex Capital and Engineering Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its product offerings and integrations, including enhanced security and vulnerability analysis capabilities, integrations with platforms like Jira and Slack as well as AI-driven analytics and reporting tools to boost developer productivity and code quality.
Co-founded by Harjot Gill, and Gur Singh, CodeRabbit provides an AI-powered platform that automates code reviews, saving developers time and effort while improving the quality of their code. By leveraging advanced AI technology, it offers actionable, “human-like” feedback, enhancing the code review process for development teams worldwide.
Initially gaining traction in the SMB and mid-market segments and having onboarded more than 600 paid organizations within a year of launch, the company is now expanding into the large enterprise market and is currently testing self-hosted versions of its platform and is conducting proof-of-concept (PoC) trials with several Fortune 500 companies.
