EDGLRD, a London, UK-based digital IP-based studio, received a growth investment from Reuben Brothers with participation from Samizdat.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its technology platform and intellectual property portfolio.
Led by Harmony Korine, EDGLRD is a digital IP-based studio that utilizes proprietary AI-based technology to produce content. It has collaborated with The Weeknd, Marc Jacobs, Travis Scott, and Kim Kardashian. In 2023, the studio debuted its first feature film, AGGRO DR1FT. Most recently, EDGLRD announced its latest film, Baby Invasion, which will premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
Together, EDGLRD, Samizdat, and Reuben Brothers will create a large content generator focusing on movies, video games, advertising, interactive content, social media, music, fashion, hospitality and sports.
