Evolve Business Group, a Wigan, UK-based company which specializes in end-to-end managed network and IT solutions, raised a multi-million-pound investment from BGF.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to implement UK and international expansion plans, with a particular focus on growth in the United States, where it currently operates over 1,000 sites across multiple states, mainly in the fuel forecourt industry.
Founded in 2005 and led by Alan Stephenson-Brown, CEO, Evolve Business Group provides businesses with end-to-end managed network and IT solutions to reduce costs and simplify the management of services across a variety of sectors, including retail, hospitality, food-to-go (FTG) and petroleum franchises.
Its four primary services – Business Connectivity, Guest Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and IT Support – provide one-stop solutions for all the telecom needs. Its patented SD-WAN technology allows the firm to deliver hardware with software-defined WAN paths that offer layers of redundancy, ensuring high availability and cloud-based control.
In the last four years, Evolve has experienced growth, increasing turnover from £6.8 million to a targeted £20+ million this year. It expects to double turnover in the next three years.
