Kami, an Auckland, New Zealand-based classroom engagement and teacher productivity content provider to the US and global K12 market, received an investment from BV Investment Partners.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The investment valued Kami at more than $175M USD.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its existing plans to bring the platform to every classroom in the world.
Led by CEO Hengjie Wang, Kami provides a classroom engagement and teacher productivity content platform for K12 market players to simplify workflows, increase student engagement, and reduce printing costs. It is used by a global community of 40+ million users-
The company will continue to operate from Auckland, New Zealand and open a Boston office, with all four founders remaining in the business. Kami has a team of over 100 people.
