Napkin, a Los Altos, CA-based provider of Visual AI for Business Storytelling, raised $10m in seed funding.
Backers included Accel and CRV.
The company is using the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO Pramod Sharma, Napkin is advanging an AI powered business storytelling platform for professionals, writers, educators, and content creators who are in the business of selling ideas. Using Visual AI, users can quickly turn their text content into visuals and easily adjust the style, colors, fonts, shapes, and design.
Currently in beta, Napkin works with users’ current workflow in Google Docs, Slides, Canva, Slack, Word, PowerPoint, Email, Text, and more.
Its design catalog already includes 30+ visual design categories, such as mind maps, flow charts, Venn diagrams, bar charts, and more.
