PhotonPharma Raises $2.5M in Seed Funding

PhotonPharma, a Fort Collins, CO-based biopharmaceutical company, riased $2.5M in Seed funding.

Backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to support the Phase I clinical trial of Innocell™, an innovative therapy for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer.

Led by CEO Dr. Alan Rudolph, PhotonPharma is dedicated to developing innovative cancer therapies that leverage the body’s immune system to fight disease. With a focus on personalized medicine, the company’s lead product, Innocell™, aims to provide a first in class treatment for a wide range of solid organ tumors.

In February 2024, the company received FDA clearance to initiate clinical development of Innocell™. The Phase I trial, expected to enroll its first patient in Q4 2024, will be a crucial step in evaluating the safety and efficacy of this promising new treatment.
