Streamkap Raises $3.3M in Seed and Pre-Seed Funding

-

Streamkap, a San Francisco, CA-based real-time data exchange to sync data between systems as well as between companies, raised $3.3m in seed and pre-seed funding.

The round was led by InReach Ventures with participation from TEN13, Haatch Ventures, and Begin Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Paul Dudley and Ricky Thomas, Streamkap provides a modern streaming data platform that makes it easy to switch to streaming ETL from slow batch processing without managing complicated streaming infrastructure. The system supports a broad range of event and database sources and log-based change data capture (CDC) streams all the changes from a database in real time. It supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, DocumentDB, Aurora, and writing from any event source to Kafka. Cloud and on-prem databases are supported with a variety of secure connection options including SSH, VPN, and an On-Prem proxy agent. Streamkap makes it easy to get data where users need it, fast, with different loading options including upserts and appends. Support for Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks Delta Lake, Clickhouse, Rockset, Redshift, and more.
