Swiftly, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a transit data platform, announced its acquisition of Hopthru, a Seattle, WA-based transit data platform for agencies to share real-time passenger information, manage day-to-day operations, and improve service performance.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The acquisition will add Hopthru’s ridership data and analytics to Swiftly’s platform, giving agencies new ways to access, clean, monitor, and analyze ridership data for NTD reporting, service planning, scheduling, and more.
