Zoe Raises $15M in Series B Extension Funding

-

Zoe, a London, UK-based nutrition science startup, raised $15m in a Series B extension funding.

Coefficient Capital provided the funding.

The company, which has raised a total of $118m, intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO Jonathan Wolf, Zoe leverages at-home test kits to provide personalized nutrition programs that combine microbiome analysis, blood testing, food logging, and continuous blood sugar monitoring.

The at-home poop test is patent pending with the most advanced analysis on the market. Using deep shotgun sequencing, they can identify specific ‘good’ and ‘bad’ gut bugs that are linked to ‘good’ and ‘bad’ metabolic health. The finger-prick blood test, test cookies, and an optional blood sugar sensor measure blood sugar and blood fat levels after eating food. 6 weeks after testing, users will get the test results of their microbiome and metabolic health and an analysis of what it means for their health.
