Blitzy, a Cambridge, MA-based GenAI company automating end-to-end custom software development, raised $4.4m in initial funding.
Backers included Link Ventures, Bessemer, Flybridge, NFX, Picus, and Asymmetric.
The company will use the funds to hire additional engineers building out its Boston presence.
Born out of the Harvard Innovation Lab and founded by NVIDIA Serial Inventor Sid Pardeshi and Serial Entrepreneur Brian Elliott, Blitzy provides a platform that takes the requirements for a new product, runs it through its proprietary orchestration tool, and automates large portions of the software development process, with a goal to achieve full autonomy in the coming years.
The company is currently using its technology internally to rapidly improve its capabilities, rapidly delivering enterprise-grade products for clients across insurance and financial services.
Blitzy plans to make the platform available for external use in the coming months.
