CarePay International, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands based provider of next-generation health insurance platforms, raised €10m in funding.
Backers included Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) and the Health Insurance Fund (HIF), a fund supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
The company intends to use the funds for international expansion and innovation.
Led by CEO Pieter Prickaerts, CarePay offers a platform that connects members, payers, and healthcare providers in real-time, managing claim payments and personalized information flows efficiently. The technology also ensures data insights are intrinsically designed to protect the privacy of its clients and to meet standards such as GDPR.
