ConnetctWise, a Tampa, FL-based software company dedicated to the success of managed service providers (MSPs), acquired Axcient, a Denver, CO-based provider of data protection and disaster recovery solutions, and SkyKick, a Seattle, WA-based company which specializes in cloud backup and management software.
The amount of the deals was not disclosed.
With the acquisitions, ConnectWise will enhance its cybersecurity and data protection offerings, enhancing its role of data protection as the last line of defense against cyber threats such as ransomware and phishing.
Led by CEO Rod Mathews, Axcient is a provider of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) solutions, offering advanced cloud-based data protection services that ensure businesses can recover quickly from disruptions.
