Delli, a London, UK-based online platform for independent food and drink, raised $6M in Seed funding.
The round was led by existing investors Balderton and HV Capital, alongside Simon Beckerman, Delli’s founder and Chief Creative Officer.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its offering and introduce more convenient delivery options for the buyers.
Founded by Marie Petrovicka and Simon Beckerman, Delli is an online platform to buy independent food and drink. Since its launch in early 2022, more than 500 makers have dropped their products on it, with the company’s team curating the best selection for the community every day.
In the past months, Delli partnered with Ravneet Gill, Ben Lippett, Jackson Boxer, James Cochrane or Sam Grainger, to name a few.
The company is now expanding its maker base regionally too, working on local partnerships in key cities: for example, Manchester’s cult bakery, Pollen, recently launched their croissant butter for the first time exclusively on Delli. Further regional partnerships are underway in cities such as Bristol, Edinburgh and Birmingham.
