Gamebeast, a Seattle, WA based gaming tech startup, raised $3.7m in pre-seed funding.
The round was led by J2 Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz via a16z SPEEDRUN, The Mini Fund, and Le Zhang.
The company intends to use the funds to launch on new platforms, leverage AI-driven analytics, build a large data insights and reporting platform in the user-generated content space, and enhance its internal insights platform for strategic game and data acquisitions simultaneously with the work it will launch with the U.S. Military.
Founded by CEO Zander Brumbaugh in 2023, Gamebeast provides Roblox developers with a platform featuring such tools as LiveOps support, live game updates, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and monetization to optimize games for the discovery algorithm.
Gamebeast is a no-code platform designed for Roblox developers, but its solutions are also useful in other digital optimization environments, such as defense applications. Its dashboard allows developers to automatically detect player pain points and make live updates seamlessly, optimizing engagement and revenue. The solution enables rapid game modifications without server disruptions, featuring an intuitive interface, LiveOps support, management tools, and A/B testing to optimize games for Roblox’s discovery algorithm.
The company is currently collaborating with over 40 game developers and in late-stage discussions with multiple aspects of the Department of Defense.
