Lumivero, a Denver, CO-based developer of qualitative data analysis (QDA) software NVivo, acquired ATLAS.ti, a computer-assisted QDA solution for qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research.

This acquisition strengthens Lumivero’s portfolio of QDA offerings, providing customers with a broader suite of comprehensive solutions.
Founded in 1993, ATLAS.ti is a QDA and mixed-media software provider that helps researchers to analyze complex phenomena hidden in unstructured data. With it, researchers and students get an overview of their findings for various kinds of research projects. Today, ATLAS.ti is widely adopted by academics and professionals globally as a premier QDA solution.
Led by CEO Gareth Morrison, Lumivero is providing comprehensive data-intelligence software that enables research and decision-making. The company, which maintains offices in Australia and throughout Europe, recently announced MyLumivero – a new, centralized solution management portal for customers to create actionable insights by doing more with their data. Earlier this year, Lumivero announced the acquisition of Risk Decisions, which strengthened the value proposition of their existing integrated risk management solutions.
