mbue, an Austin, TX-based AI-first vertical SaaS construction tech startup, raised $1.8M in Pre-Seed funding
Backers included Techstars, Geek Ventures, 2045 Ventures, Spatial Capital, Factorial Capital, Everywhere Ventures, and The MBA Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its AI-driven platform, expand the team, and enhance customer support.
Led by CEO Jean-Pierre Trou and CTO Dave DeCaprio, mbue has developed a web-based application that leverages AI to instantly review architectural drawings. The technology offers architects and builders a tool to reduce time, cost, and liability exposure during the construction process.
The company also plans to target code compliance in the near future.
