Nirvana, a NYC-based health tech company, raised $24.2M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Northzone, with participation from Inspired Capital, Eniac Ventures, and Surface Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CTO Urvish Parikh, CEO Akshay Venkitasubramanian, CPO Kelvin Chan, Nirvana brings transparency to eligibility and insurance verification with ML/AI. Its platform enables patients to book healthcare appointments of all types with full cost transparency while allowing healthcare practices to improve their financial health and revenue cycle management. The system has had applications in physical therapy, intensive outpatient, and primary care. Nirvana is available via direct API integration, EHR/EMR integration, or through the always accessible web/mobile OneVerify application.
The company is continuing to grow across many new specialties.
