PatientPartner Raises $7M in Seed Funding

PatientPartner, a San Diego, CA-based health-tech startup improving patient engagement and adherence, raised $7M in Seed funding.

The round, led by LionBird and FCA Venture Partners, was comprised of $3.5M in new money and $3.5M of convertible debt from Alethea Capital and other strategic investors.

The company intends to use the funds to further expand the platform.

Led by CEO Says George Kramb, PatientPartner is a health-tech startup focused on improving patient engagement and adherence through its patient mentorship platform. The company partners with pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device companies, clinical research organizations (CROs), along with other healthcare organizations, to deliver scalable technology-driven solutions to provide a personalized experience for its patients.

Today, the platform has over 40,000 users and more than 500 mentors across a wide array of disease states and treatment types.
