RunSafe Security, a McLean, VA-based provider of a patented process to immunize software from cyberattacks, raised $12M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Critical Ventures and SineWave Venture Partners with participation from BMW i Ventures, Working Lab Capital, Lockheed Martin Ventures, HyperLink Ventures, Iron Gate Ventures, Alsop Louie Partners, and NextGen Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate new product development and market expansion to EMEA and APAC.
Led by CEO Joe Saunders, RunSafe Security immunizes software via security techniques that inoculate customer systems from an entire class of cyberattacks. Customers integrate the product across build tools chains without developer friction, protecting open-source software and proprietary native code without changing system behavior nor affecting system overhead.
With offices in Huntsville, Alabama and Munich, Germany, RunSafe Security serves customers that span the aerospace and defense, energy and industrial automation, transportation and autonomy, medical devices, and high tech verticals.
