Sequentia Biotech, a Barcelona, Spain-based bioinformatics company focused on the analysis and application of omics data, raised €10M in Equity funding.
The round was led by Seventure Partners and EIC Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the market introduction and expansion of its flagship platform, MICK, and the scale up of its bioinformatics enabling technologies.
Led by CEO Walter Sanseverino, Sequentia Biotech is a bioinformatics company that transforms omics data into knowledge, offering cloud software, custom software and consulting services for healthcare, pharma, agriculture, industry and environment.
The MICK platform provides data analysis and interpretation, enabling an exploration of microbiome data and translating it into actionable insights for multiple applications.
