SplxAI, a London, UK-based cybersecurity company dedicated to safeguarding AI applications, raised $2M in Pre-Seed funding.

The round was led by investors including Inovo.vc, South Central Ventures, and Runtime Ventures – as well as angels David Politis (founder of BetterCloud, exited to VistaPE) and Elad Schulman (founder of Segasec, exited to Mimecast).

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its flagship product, Probe, an advanced security platform designed to support chief information security officers (CISOs) within large enterprises by identifying vulnerabilities in AI chatbots and providing immediate protection.

Led by CEO Kristian Kamber, SplxAI provides cybersecurity services for AI applications and chatbots, catering to enterprises, startups, and scaleups. Its dual approach involves both attacking and defending chatbots to identify and mitigate AI threats effectively. The company safeguard organizations and users against prompt injection, social engineering attacks, off-topic conversations, jailbreaks, and more.
