Timefold, a Ghent, Belgium-based AI software startup that specializes in PlanningAI, raised €6M in funding.
The round was led by VC investor Lakestar, and others.
Led by CEO Maarten Vandenbroucke, and CTO Geoffrey De Smet, Timefold specializes in PlanningAI, complex scheduling and routing optimization for enterprise companies. Its clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Deutsche Bahn, Palantir, NEC, ADP and Advantage Solutions. The solutions are deployed across the United States, the United Kingdom, and the EU, ensuring that businesses worldwide have access to its PlanningAI expertise.
The company intends to use the funds to launch its PlanningAI technology designed for large-scale and complex business applications like vehicle routing, job assignments, and employee scheduling.
Timefold has recently onboarded senior product, financial, commercial and marketing executives from top Belgian software companies like Showpad, Tinder, Qualtrics, Match Group, Techwolf, Paperbox and RightCrowd to help reach its global growth goals.
