Tiptapp

Tiptapp, a Stockholm, Sweden-based digital marketplace for moving, recycling, or delivering items, raised €1M in funding.

The non-dilutive Growth Loan was accessed via Gilion.

The company intends to use the funds to launch a series of targeted marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and user adoption in Berlin.

Led by CEO Tim Bjelkstam, Tiptapp is a digital marketplace that connects people who need help with moving, recycling, or delivering items with others who have extra space in their vehicles and time to assist. Launched in 2016, the app has been used across Europe, allowing users to save time, earn extra income, and reduce their environmental footprint.

The app is available in Sweden, the UK, Germany, and Portugal.

For over two years and with more than 140.000 downloads across Germany, Tiptapp has partnered with Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe (BSR), the city’s leading waste management company, to simplify the recycling process for Berliners. This collaboration allows residents to dispose of unwanted items through the platform, contributing to a cleaner and less car dependent city.
