Treble Raises €11M in Series A Funding

Treble Technologies, a Reykjavik, Iceland-based sound simulation and synthetic audio data generation technology company, raised €11M in Series A funding.

The round was led by KOMPAS VC with participation from Frumtak Ventures, the European Investment Bank, Omega Venture Partners, St. Gobain & L-Acoustics, as well as angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its team, enhance R&D efforts, sign new enterprise clients, and tap into new markets.

Founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Dr Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, Treble Technologies has built a cloud-based sound simulation platform to design the sound of buildings, cars and tech products. The company delivers solutions that facilitate communication and health and redefine sound quality across various environments.

Treble, which has a team of 35 professionals, already serves some of the largest and most prestigious companies in the world within tech, buildings, audio and automotive, including three of the five leading global tech giants and the world’s largest engineering consulting firms.
