Twenty7tec, a Bournemouth, UK-based B2B fintech provider, raised £16.5M in funding.

The round was led by BGF. In conjunction with the investment, Duncan Wade joined the Twenty7tec board. Angela Williams also joined the board, as Non-Executive Chair, following an introduction from BGF’s Talent Network.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its product development roadmap, enhance its technology infrastructure, and explore new market opportunities.

Led by CEO James Tucker, Twenty7tec provides a platform that streamlines the entire mortgage journey, from initial product search and sourcing through to application submission and completion. Over 16,000 mortgage, protection and wealth advisers use it and its data to deliver customer services and navigate the complex regulatory environment.

Recent investment in its CRM platform FINPLAN and digital marketing solution, COMMUNICATE, have extended the company’s integrated solutions in both the mortgage and wealth advisory markets.
