UCL Swift, a Carrollton, TX-based company which specializes in high-precision fiber optic termination products and connectivity solutions, acquired Accurate Connections, a Plano, TX-based manufacturer of custom fiber optic and copper cable assemblies for the datacom and telecom industries.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
This acquisition strengthens UCL Swift’s product portfolio, expands its manufacturing capabilities, and reinforces its commitment to providing efficient connectivity solutions to customers nationwide.
Led by Peggy Kovling, CEO and President, Accurate Connections has been a used provider of fiber optic and copper cable assemblies for more than 20 years. The company’s comprehensive product range, including custom-made cable assemblies and a wide selection of stocked cables, connectors, and adapters, will complement UCL Swift’s existing offerings, allowing the combined company to deliver comprehensive solutions to its customers.
Founded in 1982, UCL Swift provides products, support, and innovation for fusion splicers, cleavers, fusion splice-on connectors (FSOC), cable assemblies, splitters, and a host of related products. Markets served include Enterprise, Data Center, Broadband Telco/MSO, Wireless, and Specialty Markets, including Industrial facilities, Broadcast, Military, and Petrochemical facilities.
