Artisan Raises $7.3M in Seed Funding

-

Artisan, a San Francisco, CA-based company deploying human-like AI employees, raised $7.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Oliver Jung, with participation from Sequoia Scout, Y Combinator, Soma Capital, BOND Capital, Anu Hariharan, Paul Daversa, Fellow’s Fund, Mento VC and more.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations to develop new products and expand its business reach.

Led by Founder and CEO Jaspar Carmichael-Jack, Artisan has already launched Ava, its AI Sales Agent, in February 2023. Ava operates within the Artisan Sales platform, which replaces 10s of outbound sales tools into a single, consolidated platform, and automates personalized email writing with dynamic email playbooks that can emulate any style a human BDR would write in.

Next in the pipeline is Liam, the Marketing Artisan, and James, the Customer Success Artisan.
