-

Augmodo, a Seattle, WA-based real-time inventory and task tracker using wearable SmartBadges™ to create live 3D store maps, raised $5M in funding.

The round was led by Lerer Hippeau, with participation from Dunnhumby Ventures, NewFare Partners and Simple Food Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to empower pilots in 2024, with both brands and retailers, and continue building the business.

Led by CEO and Founder Ross Finman, Augmodo is a real-time inventory and task tracker that uses wearable SmartBadge™ on retail associates, creating live 3D store maps with tech to enhance retail experiences and cut costs for retailers, brands and consumers. The spatial AI assistant builds shelf inventory and creates planograms updated dozens of times daily. SpatialView™ is Augmodo’s analytics platform for retail executives and brand partners, which provides real-time visibility into shelf conditions.
