CrewAI, a San Francisco, CA-based multi-agent platform, raised $18M in total funding.
The round was led by Insight Partners. Additional investors included Blitzscaling Ventures, Craft Ventures, Earl Grey Capital, and angels including Andrew Ng, and Dharmesh Shah.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO and Founder João Moura, CrewAI is a provider of an AI multi-agent platform that empowers more than 10 million agents monthly and 150 customers. With it, organizations can deploy and manage AI agents to automate complex tasks and to value across a wide range of use cases, from research and analysis to coding and reporting.
The company offers a range of advanced new features including self-iteration, performance evaluation, persistent memory, and a wide range of new agent collaboration structures.
Developers in more than 150 countries are now using it to automate work processes and build AI-agent native features and applications.
The company also launched CrewAI Enterprise, making it easier than ever for large organizations to quickly build, monitor, and iterate on complex AI agents with high-quality results.
CrewAI also announced the integration of IBM’s watsonx.ai for multiagent orchestration.
