DataCrunch, a Helsinki, Finland-based AI computing infrastructure startup, raised $13m in Seed funding.
The round, which brought total funding to $18m, was led by byFounders, with participation from J12 Ventures, angels such as Oskari Saarenmaa, Tuomo Riekki, Lasse Espeholt, Henrik Rosendahl, Ari Tulla, Tapio Tolvanen, and Maaike Bryon.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach, as well as its development efforts.
Founded in 2020 by CEO Ruben Bryon, DataCrunch is a cloud provider specializing in Machine Learning (ML) services. They offer dedicated GPU instances, GPU clusters, and serverless inference. All services are fully-managed and optimized for ML workflows by its expert team of infrastructure and ML engineers.
