ER Productions, a Dartford, UK-based laser production, pyrotechnics, and special effects (“SFX”) specialist, received an investment from BGF.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its global presence, with a particular focus on the US.
Founded in 2007 by Marc Webber and Ryan Hagan, ER Productions is a multi-discipline production effects provider, specialising in the design and delivery of laser shows and special effects for the events and entertainment sectors. The company has worked for artists including Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Metallica, MUSE, Pete Tong, Robbie Wiliams, Fatboy Slim, Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry and Swedish House Mafia. They also supported large events and festivals including Glastonbury, Soundstorm Festival, Eurovision and the London 2012 Olympics.
ER Productions, which also has a strong international footprint with offices in the US, Spain, Australia, and Saudi Arabia, also delivers high-concept creative installations for corporate brands, including Samsung, Honda, Jaguar Land Rover and General Electric.
Webber and Hagan will remain majority shareholders and will continue to lead a team which is now approaching 110 talented individuals across its five offices.
